Back in the summer, I reached out to Elisabeth to see if she would be interested in modeling for a styled shoot with Arizona Weddings Magazine. That edition has since been published in the December Edition (on stands now!), but unfortunately, Elisabeth and I didn’t connect in time for the shoot. As soon as we started communicating, I loved her vibe so we planned to create our own styled engagement shoot together. I immediately reached out to my hair and makeup artist, Ja’Nice Ramos, while Elisabeth reached out to her best friend, Tyler to see if he would model with her.
Elisabeth “El” and Tyler met through a popular dating app called Bumble. Right off the bat, there was a connection. They both had a passion for anything fashion related. They always planned to meet up but life was busy and they live pretty far from each other. In December, five months after officially connecting, they met in person at the Phoenix Fashion Week’s holiday party in December of 2017, at The Phoenician.
“The incredible night of glam jumpstarted an amazing friendship.” -Tyler
Their night was full of fashion, glam, and splendor as they walked around the holiday party. They didn’t know anyone else there but each other. Within a month, they planned to see each other again by scheduling to model for a shoot together. They both started talking about modeling and how they would like to take it more seriously. That’s all it took. Since their first shoot in 2018, they have done four styled shoots together and they plan to do many more in the future. Elisabeth and Tyler don’t get to see each other often, but when they do, they have a blast. They each continue to support each other’s dreams from afar; and through this short journey, they have enjoyed an amazing friendship.
“This girl motivates me to follow what I want to do. I’m extremely blessed to have someone like Elisabeth so close to me.” -Tyler
I was so excited that they decided to bring their friendship and love for each other in front of my camera. We created magic with our team of creatives. Ja’Nice, Elisabeth, Tyler, and I traveled out to Estrella Mountain Regional Park at sunset. Ja’Nice did hair and make-up in the parking lot and we all went on an adventure. We decided to put this shoot together to really show what the full engagement experience can look like with us! We can assist you in finding the perfect dress, spicing up your session with a floral bouquet, and being pampered to feel like your most beautiful self for such an exciting season in your life!
Thank you to Elisabeth and Tyler, and to all of our local vendors for being such an amazing team!
