I just can’t believe this little guy is turning one. I say it time and time again, but the way time flies by just blows my mind! It feels like just yesterday, I was photographing his mamma as she celebrated the changing of her body and the miracle inside it at her maternity session. Or that we were celebrating his parents love during their maternity session at Papago Park.

OR that I was photographing his birth story and his newborn session!

This go around looked a little different than all the rest. Now, Karsyn has an infinity for sticks, his hair is following suit with his daddy’s and turning red, and he is mobile! A few things that haven’t changed are those breathtaking, piercing, blue eyes and a smile that can light up the room. I absolutely love watching this little man grow and change. Seeing the wonder of the world through his eyes has been so special for me.

Karsyn’s mama, Taylor, did an awesome job styling his one-year session to match his birthday party theme, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. Karsyn certainly is a wild one, and I can’t wait to see what is in store for him next year!
