Full Circle Moments in Oregon

Sierra and Ben live in beautiful Oregon, not far from where my mother-in-law, Gina, also calls home. As it turns out, Gina works for Sierra’s parents—talk about a full-circle moment! When we found out we’d be documenting this sweet couple’s love story, we were over the moon—not only to photograph their wedding, but also to spend time with family. Their Eugene engagement session ended up being a little untraditional, but incredibly meaningful.

When Priorities Come into Focus | Eugene Engagement Session

Because we weren’t able to travel for a separate engagement session earlier in the year, we took the opportunity to capture a few quick portraits during their rehearsal dinner at La Perla. Was it the most traditionally beautiful or remote location? No. But that didn’t matter. When we focus on what’s truly important—the couple, the emotion, and the light—we can create something authentic and timeless, no matter the setting.

The warm brick facade, soft overcast sky, and their easy connection made for magic. Love looks so good on these two, and it radiated through every frame. Sometimes, convenience places us exactly where we need to be.

A Garden Wedding to Remember

Just one day later, Sierra and Ben were married on their family’s garden property—surrounded by love, laughter, and the legacy of strong family bonds. Their day was as heartfelt as it was beautiful, and being trusted to capture those moments was a true gift.
