Ally, a sweet northern California girl has spent the last four years at Arizona State University, with her favorite boy, Corona! They have survived the midterm exams, morning recoveries, parties, and all the learning experiences that college has to offer. Ally looks forward to writing the next chapter in her life, as she ventures out into the world with her degree in media and marketing. During her stay in Arizona, she has fallen in love with the desert life, and plans to stay in Scottsdale, where she has convinced her parents to eventually move! This beautiful soul right here was just a joy to capture. She is proud of her accomplishments and she has put in long, hard hours to get where she is today.
We started her graduation session right at one of her favorite buildings on campus, Old Main. This historic building has stairs leading up to the entrance, with a date of 1884. The deep red bricks and Victorian style railings give this building so much character. Ally adores buildings with character, so she knew she wanted to start her session at this very location. Not to mention the dreamy lighting as the sun set behind the water fountain!
“A little bit of a weird question, but is it okay if we take a few of the photos in Papago with my dog?!” – Ally
Oh, if only Ally knew how much we love to include fur babies in our sessions! I was so excited to have her dog join us. When we were finished at Old Main, on the Tempe ASU Campus, we met up with her fur baby, Corona, as well as her parents, to shoot the rest of her session at Papago Park. Another one of Ally’s favorite locations. Corona was happy to have his debut in front of the camera and he was clearly excited to celebrate his mamma’s great accomplishment!
Ally, thank you for choosing me to capture such an exciting time in your life. A time of growth and change. A moment to be celebrated. Congratulations on your graduation and I can’t wait to see where this life takes you. Never give up. Always embrace change. And you will always have a friend at MaeWood!
Good luck and so much love to you!!
