Deonta and Naja met in junior high school through mutual friends, and when they started dating Naja’s sophomore year, they never looked back. “It’s been a long time,” Naja shared with me, and she is excited for many more years to come!

Before the pandemic hit in the winter of this year, Naja and Deonta were already planning for her college graduation and a momentous move from Illinois to Arizona. They were craving the warmer weather, stunning landscape, endless activities for their children, and the perfect place for Naja to expand her career as a new graduate.

Despite everything that has happened so far this year, Naja, Deonta, K, and Kaz entered into the unknown. They pushed through as a family. This has been a huge adventure for them, and they hit their main goals. I am forever grateful that they reached out to me to capture this season in their lives, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of them!
