We typically don’t do sitter sessions these days. But come on! How can we say no to this beautiful soul and all this sweetness!? Princess Lily has our hearts for sure. She is one of our very favorite eight-toothed subjects to photograph.
On her first birthday, we sat around on the living room floor as she played with her new toys and reminisced about the cold January night she was born. As you may know, my daughter was adopted, so I have never given birth before. I never had an emotional labor and delivery experience like I did when Lily was born. At just after 6:00 p.m. on January 24, 2019, Rebecca and I loaded up the car. It was finally time to head over to GBMC. We were beyond excited and already loved this little peanut, but we just had no idea what this little girl would do to all of our lives.
one year later…
I can’t believe that a year has already passed, and how when we think we can’t love her anymore or that she can’t get any cuter… it happens. We do and she does. At a year old, Lily Bear absolutely loves her fur babies, splashing in the tub, snuggling her blankies, playing with her big brother, and hiding for “Where’s Lily!” She smiles big, giggles with her eight little teeth, and scrunches her nose when she is being onery. Her “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” style birthday was the perfect fit for her big personality!
