Will and Sara have a special connection through numbers. You see, they first started dating on October 12, 2014, after meeting at Sara’s office. Will proposed on October 14, 2018, and before we know it, they will be walking down the aisle for their October 10, 2020 wedding. The numerical significance of their anniversaries isn’t just a coincidence. In fact, their wedding day was foreshadowed by Sara’s best friend, Fay, the day Will and Sara got engaged!

Will suggested a stop at Harper’s Ferry during a trip home from Skyline Drive. During their walk around, Sara noticed a girl wearing a hoodie, holding a camera, and sitting by a nearby tree. She thought about how weird it was that some stranger was seemingly skulking about, the possibility of a proposal not even coming to her mind at that moment.L

It has been a running joke that Will would always get Sara an engagement ring from a gumball machine, so Sara’s sister and brother-in-law helped bring the inside joke to life by getting the plastic bubble from a gumball machine. As Will got down on one knee, he brought out the plastic gumball machine container and inside was her beautiful diamond ring. Sara was completely surprised and, of course, said, “Yes!” It didn’t take her long to realize the “weirdo with the camera” was a family member there to photograph their proposal! Sara and Will decided to keep the numerical connection going and planned their wedding for October 2020!L
