Stormy Summer Engagement Session

Pond View Farm | White Hall, MD

Starting our holiday week of wedding fun was Sierra & Jesse’s stormy summer engagement session on Monday night at Pond View Farm in White Hall, MD.

a little background

Our adorable couple met while working at the local Giant together when they were barely out of high school and have been together for almost 5 years. Jesse proposed on the day they bought their first home together. Also, a part of their crew is their beautiful little girl, Maya, and two pups. Sierra works as a travel nurse, while Jesse is a full-time girl-dad.

Love knows no bounds, not even the whims of Mother Nature…

Despite the ominous clouds and raindrops looming overhead, Sierra and Jesse’s adventurous spirits led them to embrace the unexpected. Rather than rescheduling, they seized the opportunity to capture special moments of a rare night with just the two of them as sweet Maya dozed safely at home.

In a way, their stormy engagement session was the perfect metaphor for love triumphing over turbulence. Sierra and Jesse embraced anything we or the weather threw their way with open hearts. The droplets of rain glistened on the surrounding gardens, and their skin reflected their shared joy. It also created an ethereal, romantic ambiance.

But not once did it dampen their spirits! They danced in the rain, giggled at one another affectionately over the thunder, and chased each other playfully through the wet fields. They even snuggled with the farm’s resident feline welcome committee, Snowball!
