Welcome to the studio, Zephyr Rad Robbins!
If you haven’t heard the first part of Zephyr’s story, I highly recommend heading over to learn about the love of his parents during their maternity session at Kenneth Hahn State Park, and his birth story from just a few short weeks ago at Kasier West LA!
After a long few days of waiting for this sweet little guy, he finally arrived quite quickly on February 5, 2018 at 9:24 p.m. He was just 7 pounds and 3.9 ounces and 20.08 inches long. As we sat in the hospital waiting for the nurse to do Zephyr’s blood tests, his mamma talked with him, asked him if he was ready for this, told him to look her in the eyes and tell her he was going to be okay, because as his tiny onesie said, “The Adventure Begins Now…”
This little dude did an amazing job during his testing, he has brought so much love and light into this world in the last ten days, and he killed it just the same when he came into our makeshift studio for his newborn photographs. There is nothing this guy can’t handle… You see, just five days before Zephyr’s due date, my family and I unexpectedly moved from LA to Phoenix. I was determined, none the less, to make it back to LA to witness the birth of this magical human being, and to be there to photograph his newborn session, just as I had promised his parents months before. That is exactly what I did. With the love and support of my family, tips and tricks from my mom who answered all of my questions and stayed on call with me as we waited for his arrival, a space to make my studio in a friend’s home, and the patience and understanding of Zephyr’s parents, Andrea and Ryan, we successfully captured every moment… every tiny finger and toe, his long eye brows, and his perfect button nose.
